Running grew out of Woodlands Fit alumni interested in training together year
around. We are comprised of runners of
all ages and paces. Generally we run at
least six miles each weekend, but often have people running both shorter and
longer. When several members are all
training for a common event we build a training plan targeting that race. Running local events is something we enjoy
doing together. Our paces range from
9:15ish to 11:00+ min/mile, but all paces are welcome.
We
generally run on Saturday mornings from Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen on
Research Forest Dr. Start time is
usually 6:30am, but can vary. An email
is sent out each week with the scheduled time, distances and routes for that
week. Some of the group usually stays
for breakfast at H&H, who is also our t-shirt sponsor.
We are a
fun, friendly, and supportive group who enjoys running together on
Saturdays. For additional information,
